Moisture Within Wall

When a pipe break effects a home, it is not uncommon for water to enter the interior of the walls. The only way to successfully dry this situation is by removing the drywall. This is often done to ensure that the moisture within the wall interior does not begin to produce mold growth. Mold can begin to appear in as short as 48 hours after the moisture has set in. If the moisture is not removed within a week, mold growth can begin to pose a serious risk to occupants. Once the moisture within the wall has been detected and the drywall is cut out, air movers are set up to dry the effected area.
